On 27th June 1999, A Form Five student of Jit Sin High School (Sekolah Menengah Jit Sin) became the latest hit-and-run victim.
Liang Thian How, who was picked best prefect for two years, was knocked down while walking home along a pedestrian walkway-cum-flyover across the North-South Expressway.
The 18-year-old student, who sustained head injuries, died at a private hospital without regaining consciousness on Morning of 29th June 1999.
